offers
Full Body Equine Sports Massage
As a service to our clients, the horses, we offer only full body massage. A full body sports massage may be given as a warm up prior to an event or to riding, as a cool down after an event, competition or riding, and as a regular maintenance therapy.
We are happy to come to your barn, or to meet you on the show grounds to give your horse a pre-event or post-event massage.
Rates:
- Individual Client Rate - $75 for each massage
- Multiple Client or Massage Rate - $70 per horse with a booking of 2 horses on the same day at the same barn OR $65 per massage for booking 2 consecutive massages for the same horse within a 2 week timeframe
Each massage will take approximately 1 to 1½ hours and will include discussion on any sensitive areas of the horse as desired by the owner or trainer. The first massage for each horse also includes our massage evaluation prior to beginning the sports massage therapy.
There are no service fees or barn call fees.
Special rates may be determined for signing up for 4 weeks of Plan A or Plan B, and/or 6 weeks of Plan C (see maintenance page for Plan details)
Special consideration will be given to horses in need whose owners cannot afford the massage therapy treatment. Please don't let your horse go without, call or email Kristie, if we can help we will do everything we can to work something out with you.
*Please remember that massage therapy is not a substitute for veterinary medicine and that all medicinal needs should be evaluated by your horse's regular veterinarian.
